I got a few suggestions to head up to Great Falls Park which seemed like a great idea for a waterfall shot. After a few days of rain I finally got a chance to head to the Virginia side of Great Falls.

Sunset Viewing at Lake Artemesia on Flickr.

I spotted a young man enjoying the sunset at Lake Artemesia in College Park and had to ask him for a photo.

Washington Memorial Reflection Puddle on Flickr.

After getting to the Washington Memorial for shooting after a rain I found a great puddle that captured the memorial’s reflection perfectly. I had to tilt my camera to the side to capture the whole scene though but I think it added a good twist.

How to Upload Full Resolution Photos in Google Plus

Uploading full resolution photos is important for any photographer. There is nothing more satisfying than sharing your work in it’s original full glory and now Google+ supports it. It’s as simple as checking a box in your settings.

Enable Full Res Uploads in Google Plus

1. Go to your Google+ settings in your Google account settings.
2. Scroll down to photo options and check the box “Upload my photos at full size.”

Note: enabling this will use your Google Drive space so don’t go overboard :)
